Solveiga

SOLVEIGA is a painter of Latvian origin who has lived in France for 23 years. Suggestive, semi-figurative, semi-abstract, her paintings offer a level of detail that leaves ample room for imagination and reverie.

The subjects she regularly revisits with great pleasure are the emotions she experienced during her travels: in Africa, the United States, and elsewhere in the world.

Her work is part of numerous private collections in France, the United States, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Belgium, Luxembourg, Italy, Germany, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Latvia, Morocco, and Australia. "Our life is a journey... Traveling shapes our lives..." In my work, I primarily want to express and share my affection and sensitivity for light and color...

To tell the story of my vision of the unique beauty of the world around us, which always moves and amazes me. Painting has always been a source of joy, happiness, and well-being for me. And my greatest challenge is being able to communicate these emotions through my work.
